Founded in 2008, our journey began by choosing social impact over celebration. Instead of lavish birthdays, we adopted a government school in a rural thanda (hamlet) and supported children’s education through essential infrastructure such as hygienic mid-day meal utensils, blackboards, benches, cupboards, shelves, a public announcement system, and computers.

Over the years, we strengthened early childhood education by installing a kindergarten playground, introducing preschool education with English learning, publishing textbooks, and training teachers. Our continued engagement has helped students excel academically and in sports, while reducing the financial burden on parents through access to free government education. Children from nearby hamlets now actively enroll and benefit from this initiative.

Beyond education, we work to preserve indigenous culture and improve rural livelihoods. Our efforts include supporting families with borewell drilling for year-round farming, providing cattle for sustainable dairy income, and supplying seeds and fertilizers to protect farmers from exploitative loan systems.

The trust was officially registered in December 2019 as RR Seva Trust, later amended to RR Naik Seva Trust. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we supported over 1,500 families with groceries during lockdowns and distributed medical equipment such as pulse oximeters and thermometers across Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. We also sponsor a female medical student from Chennai.

For the academic year 2021–22, we allocated ₹10 lakh to support talented rural students preparing for competitive exams and initiatives promoting indigenous culture. Eighteen students were selected through a rigorous evaluation process.

Committed to preserving Gor Banjara heritage, we proudly sponsor research initiatives, including the Kannada translation and release of a historical publication documenting the community’s journey during the Nizam era. These efforts aim to encourage evidence-based research, cultural preservation, and informed action for future generations.
